It should be but it doesn't hurt to check. At the top make sure it's set to enable=true. When that's done check your configs/plugins folder to make sure the file axr_companion.ltx is in there and open it.
Unpack it to your desktop and then look in the axr_companions folder because there are a few files you need to manually copy over in to the correct folders in your Stalker directory.
